Not many know what I do
No one has a clue
That this could be
I always laughed the loudest
Although mostly at myself
You control the pain on the inside
Yet I control what I feel on the outside
I don’t do this for attention
Yet I show it off to myself
I paint a little picture, on my skin
Because I don’t know another way
The blood that spills,
Insults pouring out
I am relaxed, yet my body is shaking
While I’m watching the names you call me
Find a new home in the cold air
I create a work of art
On the canvass that is myself
Yet I don’t let people see
This little secret of mine
That CUTS so deep
