The night falls without a sound
darkness everywhere from sky to ground
The light for which used to be in the skies
flares once, then dies
Swallowed by the abyss
something that'll be missed
The wind blows over a new shade
then came the color gray and down it laid
It shall stay like this for all of eternity
just like the way it was meant to be
