If you were the mountains, you would stretch for miles
If you were the ocean, the waves would carry your smile,
If you were the wind, your scent would be blown free
If you were the air, your presence would be around me.
If love were a country, I'd give you the world
If hope were a pebble, a thousand I would hurl,
If peace were a bird, I'd free a white dove
If life were the heavens, I'd bring them from above.
If you were the earth, you would soak up the land
If you were the rain, you would soak up the sand,
If you were the trees, your canopies would reach the sky
If you were the universe, your love would forever fly.
If a kiss were a raindrop, I'd send you a shower
If a hug were a second, I'd send you an hour
If a smile were a puddle, I'd send you the sea
But if you were lonely, I'd send you to me.
