Perserverence

Even when your face goes wrinkly
And your eyes cannot see,
When your body feels heavy and tired
And your skin feels like the bark of a tree.

When your arms cannot lift heavy objects
And your legs cannot move very far,
When you know you've got to sit down
And you feel you are not shining like a star.

Do not give up hope and belief
Even when you feel a little blue,
Cause there's a special touch in your heart
And a special feeling inside you.

There's a special place in your mind
But where it is, you don't have a clue,
And if you try very, very hard
All your dreams will certainly come true.

For you need to have
And you shall overcome hardship and pain,
But if you don't have belief in yourself
You will perish and go down the drain

Perseverance is a special feeling
Which tells you to try a little bit harder,
And if you really believe in it,
You can climb all the way up the ladder.

So when you feel you can't do something,
Keep trying with courage and don't cry,
You will see the light at the end of the tunnel
And will succeed and fly high!
