A mist rises on horizons of the setting sun
Painting a picture of the beauty in blue and whites
And there is something in the air tonight
A feeling I could never hope to truly describe,
Even in a thousand lifetimes
The words wouldn’t come out right
But picture in your mind a beauty almost impossible to find
Like a summer breeze stretching across the ocean
As it blows soft sand over your feet
And standing tall against the wind
You look out over a bleeding sunset,
As she spills out an array of colors
While life slips slowly from her in the night
Giving way to the stars and moon that hang in the sky
Shining, their reflections light up lovers eyes
As they sparkle bright in the twilight
Hand in hand and holding each other tight
Living, loving, so perfect and so right
And in this moment of perfection and peace
I find a reason to live and a reason to dream
