We're Just A Fading Memory

Looking out the classroom window, I'm once again off in a daze,
Vaguely recalling the fading memories of all my yesterdays.
And my life has changed so quickly, almost too fast it seems,
Because the memories of me and you together constantly fill my dreams.
The wind outside blows the song of spring, and the trees and flowers sway
But I'm trying not to let them remind me of all the beauty you displayed.
Things are not the same anymore, and I find it hard to believe
That you loved me for myself, that you loved me just for....me.
The sun beats down upon me now, and it melts my heart away
As I think of all the things that I never got to say.
I never even said I love you, but I never would have dared,
I wasn't brave enough to tell you because I knew -- you never cared.

Very well written!! I like the contrast between the imagery that you display and the way that you feel. The reader sees how everything you are looking at "out the classroom window" reflects on the way you are feeling about this guy. Good job!
