Alone and unwelcome
I stand on the street
Ran away from my house
Yet can’t move my feet
Afraid of unacceptance
Hate fills my empty soul
My body goes numb
As I stand in the cold
If I scream out for help
Will anyone hear me?
But the whole world is blinded
By the darkness they can’t see
I am unwanted and unknown
Forgotten by all
And now by myself
I choose to fall

Raw and powerful, this speaks to my heart. I am touched by your sadness and only want to put my virtual arms around you and hold you close. |
