I can spend all day looking into your eyes,
Or holding your hand under the deep blue skies.
You asleep on my shoulder, and things feel great,
Life feels amazing; I’ve lost all my anger and hate.
Just looking at you, and I can feel a smile,
Thinking, dreaming, wishing for a while.
All I want is for you to be as happy as you’ve made me,
Because you’ve made me happier than I ever thought I could be.
But things get you down, and you always seem upset,
And whatever happens, this don’t you forget,
I truly care for you, and I always will
For you I’d swim any ocean, climb any hill,
Fight any battle, fly to any star,
Walk a million miles or even more far.
You sometimes say no one cares about you
That everyone’s out just to hurt you.
But as you can see, there will always be me
To care for you and love you for all eternity.

It's well-penned and heartfelt. I wouldn't have the courage to give this to her, most likely, but if you feel led to, go ahead. Good luck.
It does make kind of a lot of promises, but we all do that. It is a part of falling in love.
