The Moon...

Contributed by FallenAngel2876 on Monday, 11th April 2005 @ 10:47:19 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

As the tide draws out to the depthless ocean, it takes with it all my hopes and thoughts of a life.
The moon swallows all the shadows and sprays light into the forever night.
All I can see is what the lunar light allows me to.
It's presence is like an eclipse, a great orb covering me in a blanket of blinding light.
What must I see to recede my fears of being alone in this white prison of light?
All I can see is the moon, so far away, yet you swear that you could touch it with your soul.
As I stand here, everything bared to the world, the only thing that covers me is the moon.

What is it about the moon that brings out such emotions. Beautiful write that fills my head with lunar images.

Ah, La bella Luna... Maginifique, cheri FallenAngel. The moon is my muse as well, and yes, I felt everything, heard everything, saw everything... I was there, standing next to you, wondering when it'll all end, and if the moon could hear my cries... Intense, marvellous imagery, simply flawless... Merci for this, douce amie. Incredibly inspirational. Short, but such a bittersweet song of sorrow and inner-anguish... and maybe, just a hint of hope, for the light of the moon, is the most precious of all... All my love. Forever,

Your fellow poet and friend,

Stephy. *huggles*

And you wear it so well! Such an honest and vividly personal expose, and the backdrop, well its bloody big and impressive.
From a fellow Luna-tic,

Spike
