Beyond The Borders Of A Broken Heart

Contributed by abnormalpunk on Monday, 11th April 2005 @ 03:33:35 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

are you there inside your mind
closing yourself into yourself
ive given up on trying to find
another way out

this mockery you bellow
has given me no hope to live
the life i lived below
the surface of my skin

i cry at night to have you back
i hide those tears to the world
it may be burnt, it may be black
but your heart was far more embered

as i try to forget the pain you caused
i keep recalling the joy i had
and sadly i admit, it was because
of something i saw in you

that something now is visible
it is the pain you had in your heart
somehow you managed and made it divisible
and now it burdens me

this life... your words you spoke
i held dear to my hurting heart
but to you it was a joke
and so were my thoughts of suicide

if all i had in this world was you
i die unhappy and alone and poor
im glad that me and you are through
but i miss those times i hated you

I loved this it was very honest and very well
written I enjoyed it even thought it was sad. I
hope you can get over that person that hurt
you.
