some people come into our lives and make us strong
like a beautiful love song
some people make us weak
and we never reach our peak
some people make us happy to be alive
some make life hard to decide
some people give us joy to carry on
some make us feel sad and alone
some people give us re-assurance of love
and lead us to God above
some people give us a hand up when were down
others push us to the ground
some people you can trust with your life
others stab you in the back with a knife
some people nurture a hungry soul
others live to take control
some people come with nothing but love
and when they do they are heaven sent to you
every thing that happens is meant to be
no matter how sad or painful, its a lesson to me
some people
some people
some people

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
