How can you pretend that you don't see.
What I hide so carelessly.
I heard him breathe.
He saw me bleed.

So I froze inside your arms yet, turned away.
I must be dreaming.
I know you want to tell someone.
Tell them what you know I've done.

I fear what I've put you through.
But spoken fears can come true.
For all the nights that I've cried.
And wished all that was in me hadn't died.

I know there would be you, my dark angel of love.
Thank everything some force sent you with a gentle shove.
My only hope is that you allure me with your charms.
For sweet mystique isn't as far when I'm lying in your arms.

Amazing. So powerful and I could really relate. Sounds like its dealing with the same kinda stuff I've gone through so I know exactly where you're coming from.
