The Innocence of Memories
The memories are reliving
The misery of my heart dying.
My past bleeds insecurities
Even when just a memory.
The words echo in my head
With every hurtful word said.
All of my fears come alive
With reasons for tears cried.
My heart breaks in two
With never having you.
My emotions drown me
In dreams never to be
A beloved memory...

A beloved memory....i loved that. such a beauty of an ending here, and the description you built of said memory throughout the poem were just as well done.
My past bleeds insecurities
Even when just a memory.
I loved that part most of all from this. I love the kind of topics you choose to write about, this one was surprisingly unique to me. Great stuff yet again. |
