You just left me stranded
Here with a broken heart
On my own and by myself
How many other people have
You done this to before?
I knew of your reputation
But I thought I'd take a chance
And look where it lead me
As heart broken as those other girls
You convinced me that you were
Different, that you cared
The only thing that I've realized
Is that you're no better than
The rumors that they all speak of

| That's an awesome poem! It speaks the truth of some people out there. Many try to be posers and be someone they're not, someone other than themselves. It's hard to change someone also, b/c they need to be willing to change themselves for it to be possible. Keep up the good work! Jenny |
