Sir Thelawin of Mornandel
Visit the depths of fiery hell
Up again and to the north
Finding love, but still go forth
Sir Thelawin with sword in hand
Trek across this noble land
Princess Milly of Antium
Her love for thee, she will succumb
Sir Thelawin to mountains high
Almost reaching to the sky
Faeries help on way back down
Journey to their little town
Sir Thelawin in armour gold
Worship wells of magick told
Nay do trust the orcish knights
Stray from turning to their fights
Sir Thelawin thy journey goes
Only wizard, Sphar, who knows
Leave the land of orcish farms
Follow Cifaerus, coat of arms
Sir Thelawin past the bog
Lmkus questions ‘fore ‘cross the log
Veridis the dragon Night
Will guide to there, by travel flight
Sir Thelawin with heart of gold
Build a legend strong and bold
Shining brightly sword of steel
Put thy name on history’s wheel
Sir Thelawin thy handsome face
Making forest elves’ hearts race
But thou hast thy Thrandon son
Love him ere the day is done
Sir Thelawin to hear thy tale
Of lover’s lust, of beer and ale
Of elvish love, of faery light
Thru forest, faerie moss at night
Sir Thelawin across the seas
Orcish fighting, wizardries
Faery magick, mountain trek
On th’Mornandel navy deck
Sir Thelawin so pure in heart
Learn the magick of nature’s art
Conquer castles Niamh king
Countries burn the fires bring
Sir Thelawin thy quest goes on
Lovely fountains on beyond
Footsteps long and footsteps true
The land gives all its love to you
Sir Thelawin to what you fear?
So pale, wan, and ill, my dear
Sickly darling, will she die?
Puzzly question in mercy, why?
Sir Thelawin thou’st not be near
Listen to her tremble; fear
Happy sounds of pixies, lo!
They indeed possess the pullet so!
Sir Thelawin is there any love?
Hence it doth shine from above?
Can you feel the spirits’ chains?
Time, on time, in time, again
Sir Thelawin, dost thou go by horse
Dost thou trust the thunder’s remorse?
Lightning flash and eagle shine
Which make ye merry drink o’ wine
Sir Thelawin, have you no mercy
Wilt thou make thy poems versey? (!)
Wilt thou sing of mountains high?
With thee on top you touch the sky
Sir Thelawin what have you there?
Is it a lock of Fate’s cruel hair?
Could you, would you, find the key?
Of happiness; eternity…
Sir Thelawin, oh, such a quest
Hunger you, for Love’s sweet breast?
For orcish fire, for elvish bow
For docking city safely, ho!
Sir Thelawin plan ye for a voyage soon
Make demons cry, make lovers swoon
The dark black nights of starry skies
Give to them, your alibis
Sir Thelawin, do make and mar?
Can ye whistle for thy troops afar?
‘Cross the river far and wide
Brush love and purity aside
Sir Thelawin your journey ends
The deaths of comrades, late amends
Come back again to Mornandel
Or forever burn in orcish hell!
