I woke up early this morning
I stumbled out of bed
Made my way to the shower
Trying to clear my head
After a long hot shower
I finally feel awake
I went into the kitchen
Your breakfast I began to make
I made your favorite breakfast
Ham and eggs and coffee too
And I place them on the table
But now I don't know what to do
I call to you but you not here
The sounds travel through empty halls
Silent echoes of what was once
Now no one answers my calls
It’s been only a few days
Days that seem like a lifetime you see
Since I felt you warm embrace
Or seen the loving way you look at me
I lay my head down and begin to cry
I cannot stop the tears, this cant be
Why? Can’t someone tell me why?
That drunk driver took you away from me
Please dont drink and drive
