I want to move on,
Get you out of my head,
But your memory surrounds me
Each night in my bed.
I think about you in every aspect
Of my life's loneliness and regret.
I want to move on,
But I don't want to forget.
So many other things
That could occupy my time,
Yet I lie here all alone,
And still think of you as mine.
So many other people
Who care so much for me,
But they don't know what I'm going through,
They don't know that I'll never be free
Free of a moment
I wanted never to lose,
And free of a longing
To belong only to you.
