Shadow in the corner, don’t glare at me
I’m frightened as it is, can’t you see?
Every single part of my life you are there
Shadow, you’re the earth, the sky, and the air
I drown and suffocate in your darkness
Every night I go to bed, you caress
And drag me into my horror filled dreams
The silence of the room is drowned by screams
I need to find a way out of this pain
Shadow, Shadow, you’re driving me insane
If only I could find an open door
Oh Shadow, Shadow torture me no more
Destroy the rusty chains and set me free
I will win the war between you and me
Like a shattered mirror you will crack
And into your tomb, Shadow, you’ll go back

That's a good poem. I can sense the feeling within this poem... of fear and dispare. I hope the shadow leaves you alone tonight... That's a great poem. Keep it up! Jenny.
