The stars seem heavy,
My mind is blank,
You don't seem to worry,
You don't look back,
I'm just sitting here on my own
I'm waiting for the bandwagon to roll.
You face the crowds,
You fire the gun,
You tell me you need me
But I'm not the only one,
I'm o.k here, I just want to moan,
While I'm waiting for the bandwagon to roll.
The jungle creates monsters,
The mind creates doubts,
The streets create chaos,
The words splutter from your mouth,
There's no need to worry,
I'm used to being on my own,
I'm just waiting for the bandwagon to roll.
He knows what to say
As he moves around your body,
He traces his fingers, you feel a little dizzy,
You fall to your knees,
You don't love him I know,
It's fine, I'll wait for the bandwagon to roll.
A Prophet issues a warning,
A thinker dreams of life,
You think you've ben hurt once,
But I know you've been hurt twice,
It's closure I need to I'm heading towards home,
There I can wait for the bandwagon to roll.
