Oh how I long To live
To go out and play
But to the place I am chained
I stay
How I long to breathe
As you do
To kiss the morning light
To taste the morning dew
Locked away
With only my fear
The torture is to be so far from it
Yet so so near
Ending my life
Would not do
It would not destroy
The pain I go through
Because Death
I realise
Is just another torture
High above the skies...

If i were not in the disposition that I am, than perhaps I would not have thought of Vampirism whilst reading through this.
My justification lies with the last line...in reference to the sun?
Perhaps I have misinterpreted?
Regardless I very much like this piece.
Less is more...you have proved this notion, within this piece.
As well as incorporated vivid imagery
Well done. |

Wow, damn, nice. THat was brilliant. I wish I had thought of those lines. Well done. So true. So what are people like us supposed to do? If no where in life or in death are we safe from pain?
