Death

Contributed by sick_n_twisted on Saturday, 9th April 2005 @ 04:09:44 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Pounding in my head
Screeching in my ears
as i open my eyes its gone
like a spirit hunting me
as i close my eyes its there
like a spirit stalking me
disappears and reappears
death is stalking me
i feel like theres chains around me
I dont feel free
suffacating
choking on my breath
the noise sharpens
as im going insane
from the harash noise pounding in my brain
death is stalking me
trying to sleep on my bed
knowing soon i'll be dead
sweating, choking and trying to fight my sleep
my life i want to keep
cause i wanted to die
cutting my wrists
now death is stalking me

Sounds like you are dealing with a lot of turmoil. Things will get better if you do not give up.

The struggle in your poem is excellent. You don't know what you have until you almost lose it. An appreciation for life is found and a new fear of losing it follows. Keep on writing!!
