She waited day by day
For something that could end her pain
She longed to break the lock and chain that bind her
And cut the endless burs that scrape inside her
She's a puppet, on a chain
with no control over the strain
She wishes she could fly or die
To stop the endless pain inside
Then one day she disappeared
And all the others ran in fear
Because her puppet chain had snapped
And she was gone in just that flash
Those who saw, they wouldn't tell
for no one understood her well
she flew away with wings of gold
where she landed was never told
So when puppet strings hold you fast
Use your heart and break away at last
Fly away to a world unknown
And you'll be happy that you'd flown
So when you are a crafter's skill
Break away with pure free will
And you will be a queen on her thrown
ruler of your own land dome.
