Haunting Dreams

Contributed by AtomicPromIse on Friday, 8th April 2005 @ 11:28:54 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I’d take back hell,
Before I took back you,
It’d be a pleasure not a pain,
Kiss my dreams, pierce my vein,
And the tears fall,
You’re voice echoes through the hall,
So now I’m lying on the floor,
Pool of sweat, blood-and acid dripping.
And the dreams like fantasies are real,
But haunt me when I open my eyes,
The windows staring-streaks of red,
Upon my shadow faded blouse,
WHAT IS GOING ON IN THIS HOUSE!?!
I see your face and get scared,
Your mouth is silently screaming.
You’re eyes shocked open,
Just like in my dream-
Where the acid drips from your fear inflicted face,
But I smiled and watched your skin peel away.
That’s what haunts me to this day.

Is this supposed to be a "shaped poem" where the lines make a shape?

And do you remember what you ate that day. Some wierd stuff going on in your head.

Or was this some sort of overnight "Brain Dump"

I really like this, and can relate.
