You Didn't Mean To

Contributed by Pats4eva7 on Friday, 8th April 2005 @ 10:23:42 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

You're sorry for the pain you've caused,
The tears you made me cry.
You didn't mean to say those words,
Those words that made me wanna die.

If you could you would take them back,
Though they were a mistake.
Should I believe you when you say,
You didn't mean for my heart to break.

Sticks CAN break your bones,
And words CAN hurt you.
So I left you for the words you spoke,
There's nothing you can do.

Those words remain in my head,
I wonder which hurt more.
When you call me a *****,
Or worse, when you called me a whore?

Go ahead,
Leave me be.
Go hurt some other girl,
Anyone, just not me.

I cannot take this aching pain,
You greatfully caused.
Thats just one in a million,
Of your abundant amount of flaws.

To love you now,
Though you hurt me so.
You'd hurt me again and again,
That's why I must go.

I leave you with one thing,
Love another with all your heart.
Even though they might hurt you,
It's better to have loved and been torn apart.
