I Am Old

The ocean of depression has swept me away
in a little boat of guilt
I’m sailing on an endless sea.
Aging as I go.
I feel thin and old. Like a candle that knows it’s about to melt to its death.
I am not young anymore.
I am dusty, old, and dirty.
I’m sailing in a little boat of guilt, it is too small. It’s closing in on me.
I can’t breathe.
I can’t breathe.
I can’t breathe.
I am dying, I am melting, I am dying.
I am old, dusty,
crusty,
and dirty.
Dying and dirty.
Old and dying.
I am here.
I am coming.
Look out.
You might
die
with
ME!
