My Knight?

Waiting for my knight in shining armor,
to come galloping up on his mystic steed.
I play the part I never wanted to play,
the part of the damsel.
And my knight in shining armor comes to my rescue.
Girls swoon at all his glamour,
but as I’m in my knight’s arms,
I wonder…
Is a glamour all it really is?
Instead I looked to the person that made the stead mystic,
and the armor shine.
I leave the weak arms of the joker,
leaving the knight to the foolish girls…
As I race along side my stable boy.

Score one for the stable boy!
I like this piece. It is well said, and who needs glamour, anyway?
Keep it up.
