a journey 2 find love

Contributed by ebooibo on Friday, 8th April 2005 @ 01:09:20 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

I've went on a journey 2 find love It took a lot out of me Though I can say from my struggle I've gotten wiser
I don't know if I got wiser While I climbed my pride away But somehow I know That's it's a reason were now acquainted
I sailed away to catch dedication Thinking sea sick would be one of my biggest worries But the waves that rocked away my childish ways were I got scared and made attempts to leave Though when I did dedication hung from my hook
So I am now dedicated It was a hard catch Even though I somehow feel It caught me instead I went hunting for forever
I cried and gave up more than I can count However during one of my tears leaving my eye My lips curved into a smile
But to my surprise before my smile could fully rise Forever was actually on the hunt for me We tussled and fought, I was about to give up But then I remembered a thought My thought was you So I'm now coming to you more wiser
With more dedication In hopes that we can share my forever But before I could say or fully look you in the face
scared tripped me onto the floor asking me if I was sure while the scare of heartache somehow became a part of my presence

your hand reached out to help me
and before I could reach up to you
stubborn took a toll on me
so I got up with out you helping me
I guess I wasn't actually ready

so its back to drinking from my singles cup
heartless but never hopeless
cause one day when the time is right
I will give my forever to you
