Fear of the Dark

Darkness falls and there's no one there,
You can't move or feel,
All you feel is the fear.

There's no place to go,
There's no one to listen.
The world has gone deaf,
There's no definition.

You become numb,
No understanding or reason,
All you know is the dark,
All you hear is your breathing.

This fear stays forever,
There is no escape.
Search for the light
Or the illusion won't break.
