It Rained Today

The sun was shining bright today.
Yesterday, you ran away.
Something tells me you won’t turn back.
The sun disappeared, the clouds turned black.
In my room, the weather changed fast.
Went from a happy to a sad forecast.
I turned my back to the window’s sun.
First day without your love has just begun.
Why on earth would you wanna go back?
You hated your past, you hated all that.
Someone loves you for who you are,
And she wants to be with you, so don’t run far.
Nothing will ever be the same.
I’ve only got myself to blame.
Now I’m left with all this pain.
In my room, it’s beginning to rain.
My lap and my pillow become a sea.
Tears pool in my hands, what’s wrong with me?
If you come back, only then,
Will the sun shine in my room again.
Whatever it takes, whatever you do,
Wherever you go, I’m never leaving you.
