Just a Dream

Contributed by GurlyTye on Thursday, 7th April 2005 @ 06:30:19 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Lying in bed
I stare into the dark
I strain my ears to hear
the slightest little noise
A footstep on the floor
the sound of your soft breathing
but all i hear is silence

And just as i think
he's not comming

i hear a soft noise
Tap, Tap, Tap
on the window
I sit up in my bed
and watch you climb in
i smile knowing how much i love you
Still not a word has been said
but i know you love me too
as you sit on the bed
and lean in for a kiss
just as our lips touch
the blissful dream fades into the distance
i lay in my bed
tears streaming down my face
Everynight i dream of you and i together
And wake up crying
knowing that is all it will ver be
Just a dream.

Some dreams you just gotta wait for ... give them time to come true ... some may ... some may never ... It could be time knows you aren't yet ready for what you want ... but it will catch up to you sooner or later.

Nazmythian ~
