COLD RIVER RED

The pendulum has finally swung
Towards the original sun
Where eagles loom and hover
Where the moon heats the summer

Precariously fleeting season
Momentary unconscious reasons
Majestic quarrels delivered
The cold blue river shivers

Redemption is inevitable
Your pity is acceptable
Prayer is your escape
The angel of the wasteland awaits

The return from death
Is inherently perilous
Irrationality and its components
Encompass this moment

There it leaves us
It has fled
When it wakes us
The cold river turns to red
