Souls with closed windows

Lifepoems

He’s waiting, like me
For someone to see
Deep down inside
The world that he hides.
Neither him nor I
Will open up wide
For others to see
What we have inside.
Treasure of our beings
flooding us within
never to be seen
By someone above.
Talents we are hiding,
Fantasies colliding,
Secret little worlds
just of our own
Live their lives inside us
Never to be shown.
Nobody will know what we have to give
If we never show lives that we live,
Behind close doors, behind fake disguise
tiny cosmos lays
bursting with creation,
rising thoughts of revelation.
Souls with closed windows
are easily forgotten,
how can they be open
if we shut them down.
So, don’t be surprised if
no one can reveal
who we really are,
what we really feel.
