Topic: oops

i miss you
and i can feel you
you're something i long
for in secret
often from myself.
you make me feel perfect.
and that bit of euphoria's
price
is weeks or month
of mediocracy.
i hope i'll feel it again,
get trapped back in this cycle,
but for real.
i want us both to stop
being so guarded
i want too much that
i'll never have
