Stupid Boy Again

Topic: SecretLove

Which tool is it to break the brick?
A hammer, a chisel the mortar’s too thick

Questions and comments to show that he cares
Get nothing in return except for cold stares

He has tried and tried to find the wedge
To pry on a corner to get the edge

Her graffiti is written with heartache and pain
It could come clean with a fresh summer rain

The wall is seamless not even a crack
Stupid boy keeps trying; he’s going to come back

He’s gone to the shed to find the right tool
He’ll try again but not play the fool

They say that absence makes a heart grow fond
Stupid boy is just thinking out back by the pond

There must be a key to the wall of stone
It’s hidden deep and it’s all her own

If she’d put out the torch and open the wall
Stupid boy could come in but not slip and fall

Stupid boy is confident predictably true
He is sure of himself and persistent too

With patience compared to that of a rock
He sits and he listens to every tick of the clock

Does his patience run thin with every swing of the pick?
Or will she give in and give the key to the brick?

I love the anology used here...
With patience and persistence he's sure to win....
