Recognition walks this way,
indecision about what to say,
silence or greetings?
Does she know its me?
Do we just keep walking by,
forget about talking , why
is a friend a stranger,
a stranger a meaner,
leaner person than I knew before?
Bridging the gap
in awkward hate
we pass by in a grate-
ing awkwardness
I try to dismiss,
that I am not an outstanding fellow,
just because there is no hello.
