Look At Me Now

Contributed by DesolantDreamer on Wednesday, 6th April 2005 @ 09:21:38 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Even when I was little
You always found something wrong with me
And always acted like I was the worst person on the earth
You treated me like trash
You lied to my mother
Saying things I didn't do
Just to make me look bad
You never cared about me
And always tried to make me mad
So I'd scream or do something for you to get me in trouble
You never hugged me
Not even after you ran over my foot with your car
You just yelled at me to get in so you could take me home
That seems like all you ever do
Yell
Even when I did nothing

Well, look at me now!
I made it big!
I'm a hero!
You said I'd never be more than a problem child!
Well I followed my dreams
And threw your hatred out the door
I'm a CSI
I save people
I give them hope
Unlike you
I don't tell them they'll never amount to anything
I guess we know who the better person is!

Wow this is an emotional, deep and angry poem. Expressed with immense anger.
I honestly hope u do graduate and become what u want to be. First my friend u do it for yourself. You don't have to prove urself to anybody. Turn that anger into something positive in which u r doing. a strong powerful write.
Hugs,
Sue
