My Paradise

Quiet,
Silent leaves dance between aged, wise oaks
Drifting to uncharted destinations.
Mysterious,
Is the iredescent streams of light that speckles the lost world beneath the tree tops.
Exhilerating,
The creek that gurgles swiftly over smooth pebbles.
Stunning,
Are the luminous red mountains that protrude from the rich soil of the earth.
Ancient,
Are the Ash Trees that keep secrets from forgotten history of the fronteir days.
Calm,
Is the lustrious wildflowers that exude heavenly aromas,
Taming the wildest of beasts.
Fruitful,
Is the earth that willingly bestows upon the less than worthy,
Nurturing, adopting all of the living things that resides in it.
Why do so many keep looking for paradise,
When it's right beneath our feet?
