These days have been too much for me to believe
as the blind wake to find
the sun shining in the window,
I have found some strange meaning to me
things never known
and
never felt.
So much time left in the dark,
as it will always be
but
shining somewhere,
somewhere both
far and near
Hope lingers inside
warm and bundled,
sleeping kindly
at my core.
And in the distance
stands a beacon of Light,
an extension to what 's inside
as I leave you now
to connect
"what is"
and
"what will be"
into a brilliant future.
