Ripping at my hair i try to grab at the figment that haunts me
i try to shed the thoughts but they're too strong to overbear
lowering my swollen hands i can't realize whats around me
it's foreign
i'm alone
and i cant feel anything
the world waves me goodbye as i drift into my world of nothingless
i feel no pain
i hear no cries
i shall drown into my sea of darkened dreams
and it will be as if i never was
show me nothing of the true life i lead for i long to let that path be covered by leaves
this escape is the sad way out all i know and all i see.

Very good write. I like the first line.....Ripping at my hair I try to grab at the figment that haunts me, I try to shed the thoughts but they're too strong to overbear...I hear you there, loud and clear. I too have been diagnosed with a chemical imbalance. Its a b**ch and a blessing at times. Peace to you. Laura |
