through the frosted windows
site the flower of winter so sweet
a friend if i ever had one
her eyes
deep and black as coal
her hair
a shade of silver
tattered and frayed
her hands they shake
blue lips tremble
i knew her so long ago
id offer her a hand
but my hands, once strong
now tremble to
so i watch my blue magnolia
as she withers beneath the snow

I liked this. And, I love magnolias. They are hardier than you think.
This was a very moving and insightful poem.
