Don't ever close your eyes.
Don't turn your back on life,
and please don't shed a tear,
if it isn't from your heart.
Don't ever lean on the falling,
they are only running away.
Put your faith in the ones,
the ones who are by your side now.
I cried a river down to my crooked smile,
and hoped it would take me to the sea,
and the moon would pull the tide out,
and I would never swim for shore.
But I found an allie in my shadow,
and a reason in the silence,
to breathe again, to live again.
I found an answer in my heart,
to the questions from my mind.
I had to breathe again, I had to live again

for some reason these two lines were my favorite:
