The empty space between the rebound
and the relationship that can be found
at a dance club or a sports pub,
is the place I rested my lonely head,
solace in an empty bed that fed
my need to be needed for a minute ,
I relished it, but I didn't win it.
Never the plan for more than now
you move so fast to turn around
away from my woos to a party man's
casual panache with an easy hand
he'll lay you down like your biggest fan.
He'll victim you like you victimed me,
it's the way it works, we'll always be
crossing the river on seperate trains
casting glances on past remains
under the tressel where we've crashed before,
wreakage of phone numbers, labored chores
that fall apart despite our charms,
disentegrating faster than an atom bomb,
there will never be lasting like for us,
because nobody trusts us,
to be with each other.

This is outstanding. Its written to a perfection that I couldn't even hope to accomplish, its deep, insightful and very expressive. A beautiful write, captivating from the first line to the last. Thanks for sharing.
Take Care
