Hollywood Angel

Contributed by Steven_Fenton1982 on Monday, 4th April 2005 @ 02:55:45 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

She used to be so sweet, such a happy little child with a heart of gold.
She never talked with anger, her parent's raised an Angel, but her halo had to go.
She always had a smile, she never cried, sang in a choir to bless her soul.
One of God's children, but sometimes they lose control and run away.

So innocent and pretty, she took all life had to give, and still she smiled through.
Looked good for her life, till she packed her bag's in search for Hollywood.
A distant voice called, but she was already half way there, no turning back now.
She never thought she would have to say goodbye, but that's the way it goes in Hollywood.

Heaven to Hell, it's a long and lonely road with no return.
Tears of blood, but the river run's deeper the more she lies.
You don't belong here baby, you're not a Hollywood Angel.
Heart's of stone, they just don't give a damn about you darling.
**** and forget, tinseltown isn't Heaven, break free and go home.
Take back your heart and fly away, you're not a Hollywood Angel.
