Wasted

Contributed by Red_October on Monday, 4th April 2005 @ 01:58:16 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

I'm a waste of good energy
And he's wasting my time
We get together
I'm shining...
down through to the night

We waste everything
but it feels alright
yea
We waste everything
but it feels alright

I don't pretend to know it all
I only hope that you do
You don't say you know how I feel
I only hope that you do

Love's a waste of our energy
This life's a waste of time
We're not together
So I'm getting wasted tonight

We waste everything...
Wasting all our time...
yea
We waste everything...
but it feels just fine

I like this. It meminds me of songs that have been released before.

I don't pretend to know it all
I only hope that you do
You don't say you know how I feel
I only hope that you do

I love that bit. Keep it up.
Phil

it's a really nice poem, but i got something for you..

Whoa, love is not a waste of time; it’s something that you’ll someday find, the one thing that will blow your mind, but that special person you have to find. Love doesn’t come easy, but believe me, when you find it you’ll know, it will creep into your heart so slow, leaving you breathless, restless, thinking about the one who changed your life so much, starting with that very touch, that single gaze that you’ll love so much, and just can’t live out. Love is more then a feeling, it keeps your mind reeling, pondering can this really be true? But you have to look inside of you, to see and explore something so new. But don’t give it all away, because there might come a day, when someone breaks your heart, tears your life apart leaving you crying, trying to figure out what went wrong, because it felt right all along, but in truth that’s not the fact. Love will come to you, you’re never to young or old, to tell someone proud and bold, because it’s a feeling that you can’t hold, fold and put away. It’s simply out of your control; whether it’ your father, mother, sister, or brother, your heart will care deeply about at least one person. The truth is clear, you just have to hear, see, and feel these words that are written here; when you find that love, my dear, your heart will tell you, and the mark of happiness will be written all over your face. Now do you think that love’s a waste?

I could almost hear a voice singing this!!
Sort of sad and yet carefree at the same time.
Well done!
