From flesh become stone
clouds gather to sea
what monster has grown
depression in me
chip stone from my face
reveal what's concealed
a smile in its place?
or a burning black field?
I'm worn out from the storm
my features are fading
stone's not reborn
so why am i waiting
are statues soul-less?
am i a stone fate?
Who's love could true hold this?
While i sink in a lake...

Great write,

Quite an imagination. I often seek out writes such as yours. Very different and enjoyable to boot. |

Your ability to add life to your thoughts is a plus sign for your talents. The subject itself is unique, and the way you handle it shows imaginative genius.
Try, as I did, I could never get seriously wrapped up in the picture you were trying to put across. I just kept thinking of what birds do to statues, and could never picture myself as one. Maybe I should have got off the mower a couple of hours earlier.
Cheers
John
