Today Is Not A Good Day

I am scared today and have no knowledge of why
I sit in my room that I have made my home
Fearful of things unknown
I silently weep suffering from the deepest pain
Trying to understand where it came from
I cannot reach out because there is no trust
Where can I go when I feel so down
I hide within myself because of probable pride
Jesus help me I am dying inside
Show me peace that I have never known
Give me strength to live again
Take the shadows that darken my life
Hold my hand and walk me through
Cause things have been a little scary
Please don't leave me in the middle of the night
This is when I need you the most
But today it is a little different
My nightmares and fears have come about
Through the daylight hours and the tears are falling
I am scared, will you help me please?
