The price of victory,
Pain of the vice.
Haunting burn of passion,
Pain will suffice.
The missing piece you granted,
Then took with you away.
Is this how love feels, it hurts.
Farewell light of day.
O’ Come depths of darkness, let me lurk.
The price of love, the cost of loss,
The empty place, it hurts.

beautiful poem! Awesome word choice! Great flow! You should try entering this in a contest or try getting it published, share it with the world more so than a poetry site, because anyone can relate to this at some time or another in their life. GREAT WRITE!!
