Upon A Star

Topic: LostLove

Upon a star up in the sky,
I send to it my dreams and fears.
Though it never answers me,
It seems to take away my tears.

I call on it in my time of doubt,
I turn to in when im in need.
Dear Lord I beg of you,
Make my wish come true I plead.

I whisper to that star up high,
Wishing one wish every night.
To some it may seem upsurd,
But in my mind so right.

I know it hears me,
For my cries are to loud to be unheard.
I yell to it from my window sill,
I know it hears my every word.

As that lone star twinkles,
Throws my wish about.
Decesions, decesions,
Take it in or toss it out?

Millions of them,
Scattered among the sky.
I reach up to grab one,
But I notice its too high.

Maybe if I reach one,
It will see my desperation.
Every night I wish that wish,
Can it see my frustration.

Still no avail,
That dot of light is too far.
But believe me every night i'll wish,
Upon that bright lone star.

Star light,
Star bright,
First star I see tonight.
Wish I may,
Wish I might,
Have this wish I wish tonight.

this is good and I feel your pain because I'm going through the same thing.
Watch the spelling but other than that, it was really good!
Nice job

This is incredibly beautiful in its own way. Deep, insightful and expressive. Its very well written, flows wonderfully and I simply love how you closed it. Excellent and creative, thanks for sharing.
