A rambling of sorts?

A fine figure, standing tall
trying to contemplate the twisting
of maturity that's always yearning
for the fever of lost youth.
Left to listen to the serenade of treason
that has caused him to puzzle
at the ambiguity of thoughts
he once found deft and serene.
He finds himself trapped
in the concrete trench
of emotions that facilitate
the blossoming blues of his dreams,
only to find that the centenary
menace that costumes the lingering
jaundice is plausible and shallow.
Left screaming and full of false bravado
seeking to duplicate the vestige
of turmoil that lies in the crossing
of dreams with that of the spitting
reality that we call life

I loved this...especially this line---> trying to contemplate the twisting
of maturity that's always yearning
for the fever of lost youth.
