Losing You
I saw you today, and I know you saw me!
But we didn’t say “Hi”,
We just walked away.
Is this how it’s going to be?
I can’t stand this incredible pain,
I can feel it; it’s there.
Maybe I’ll just slit my wrist and let it drain.
This is so unfair!
We don’t need to talk, although it hurts me deeply inside!
I wanted to clear my head, so I went on a walk,
Now I’m lost, and I ran out of tissue to dry my eyes.
All these changes are coming so fast!
I don’t know if I can take it anymore! I’m trying to forget and leave it in the past. But I need you here to help me close the door.

| this one has powerful meaning, too!! It was even more well written than your last one, and it was easy to read and flowed very nicely. The last line, about needing help to close the door ended the poem like BAM! It was so awesome, it just left the reading pondering on the confusion of life! Great write! |
